Drew McIntyre remains one of the top Superstars in WWE and certainly has a lot of passion for the pro wrestling business. He is a former two-time WWE Champion and was the face of the company during the pandemic era as the WWE Champion.
Drew McIntyre has competed against the best of the best the company has to offer but there are still a good few pro wrestlers that he has yet to face, especially outside WWE. Last month McIntyre had teased wanted to face off against Kazuchika Okada, which got fans excited.
While speaking to Sportskeeda, Drew McIntyre talked about possibly facing off against NJPW star Kazuchika Okada. McIntyre stated that he would love to face Kazuchika Okada.
“I mean I’m not going to say that we’re never going to see it ever. But I will say that I like to have fun. And I like to play out to things online. So, if you notice anything weird about something I say or something I do, there’s generally a reason behind it as you noticed. But that’s a match I’d love to have if it ever is possible.
“As we’ve seen over the last few years, with all the different companies in the world and people working together, WWE is always open for business if it’s the right situation. If it makes sense for business, that would be the match I would love.”
Drew McIntyre is set to face off against Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship at WWE Hell In A Cell on June 20. We will have to see if he will be able to win the title or not.
