Tupac Shakur would have turned 50-years-old today. The world is remembering Tupac today, especially fans who are trolling Will Smith for being Jada’s rebound after Tupac. Sami Zayn joined the conversation today, but it had nothing to do with Will Smith.
Sami Zayn appreciates people who speak out against culture and institutions that need to be changed. That is the crux of his documentary to expose WWE and their wrongdoings, a documentary that Zayn claims WWE is still hindering.
Zayn tweeted out to remember Tupac Shakur on what would have been his 50th birthday. He also praised the late rapper for understanding the true difference between the haves and the have nots.
Tupac understood the difference between the haves & the have nots is not a matter of superiority, of good or bad, but merely of having & not having.
Worth noting as our culture & institutions increasingly deify the rich, absolve them from rightful embarrassment & vilify the poor.
Sami Zayn is incredibly outspoken, even outside of WWE. There is no doubt that Tupac would have been a supporter of Zayn’s causes if he was alive to lend a helping hand. You never know if WWE would have been able to arrange a WrestleMania entrance for Tupac and Zayn if that fateful day in Las Vegas never happened where Tupac tragically lost his life.
RIP Tupac.
