Jon Moxley made his debut at AEW Double Or Nothing 2019 and since then he’s had a terrific time in AEW, becoming the AEW World Champion and being involved in high-profile matches.
There is certainly no doubt that Jon Moxley is at the top of his game and his love and passion for professional wrestling knows no bounds.
While speaking on Oral Sessions, Jon Moxley answered questions asked by fans when it came to relationships and parenthood. Moxley we also asked what he’d become if Moxley wasn’t a pro wrestler.
Jon Moxley certainly had a surprising answer as he revealed that Moxley would have become a forest firefighter or writer if pro wrestling didn’t work out.
When I took an aptitude test, they told me I’d be a forest firefighter, which I never went and did that. It seems like a cool job. I’d be into that. But I think I would have been a decent writer.
“I have no writing skills, and I never went to school for writing. Once I started picking it up, I had a knack for it, ’cause it’s storytelling.“If you’re writing a book for s–ts and giggles, you know, you want to capture people’s attention. That’s what we do in the ring. That’s what you do with a promo and with an angle. Writing is just another form of that. Maybe, I would’ve been a writer because it’s in the same vein as what I do.”
We certainly wonder just how different Jon Moxley’s life would have been if he never became a pro wrestler. Regardless, he’s happy being a pro wrestler and that’s what matters.
