NXT UK champion WALTER has been a dominant force in WWE ever since he made his debut back in January 2019. WALTER is also the longest-reigning champion in modern WWE.
WALTER has been a very imposing and dominant champion who has run roughshod in the NXT UK division and now it seems he has crossed a huge career milestone in the company.
The WWE NXT UK Champion has officially crossed 800 days as a champion. The leader of Imperium won the title back on April 5, 2019 at the NXT Takeover: New York event, where he defeated former champion Pete Dunne.
Dunne was the champion for an impressive 685 days after defeating the inaugural champion Tyler Bate back in May 2017. WALTER last defended his title against Rampage Brown at the NXT UK Prelude event during WrestleMania 37 Weekend and also defended it against Tommaso Ciampa that weekend at the NXT Takeover: Stand and Deliver Night 1 event.
Currently it is not known who WALTER’s next challenger will be, but at this point in time, it is unlikely WALTER will be losing his championship anytime soon as he has been booked as a very strong champion.
