This week’s episode of Monday Night RAW featured the long-awaited return of Eva Marie, after months of her teasing her ‘Eva-lution.’ She was scheduled to face off against Naomi in a singles match.

However, that didn’t end up happening as she brought NXT UK Superstar Piper Niven to the show as well. Piper Niven would square off against Naomi in her place and easily defeat her.

However, it seems Piper Niven’s debut happened at the very last moment. According to a report by Fightful Select, Piper Niven’s debut alongside Eva Marie was originally the plan as of the weekend, but that plan was then subsequently nixed.

As of this weekend, that was the plan for tonight, but was changed, before being reinstated.

However, the company decided to go through with the plan after all and Piper would end up debuting on Monday Night RAW. Due to the “rapid changing nature of RAW”, it is not known if Niven’s debut would have even happened on the show.

Piper Niven was also pitched a very ridiculous name called ‘Doudrop.’ However, she is currently without a name on the show, but it is likely she might just stick with Piper Niven in the end. WWE’s current strategy for Piper Niven and Eva Marie will see Niven winning the matches while Marie takes the credit for them as well.
