Samoa Joe Spotted At WWE Performance Center This Week

Samoa Joe was released from his WWE contract and a lot of fans were really surprised by that decision. Joe had just come off a long stint on commentary and was hoping to get back to action. Fans were also really excited about the possibility of Samoa Joe finally wrestling again, but that didn’t happen.

We previously reported that could be heading to WWE’s NXT brand. This sparked a new wave of excitement within the fan base. Joe is still under his 90-day non-compete clause, so if a deal is reached he could return at any time.

Fightful Select added an update to their initial report. It was said that WWE officials have confirmed that there are pitches to use Joe, and he was also at the Performance Center this week.

Officials in NXT have confirmed that Samoa Joe was briefly at the WWE Performance Center this week. We were not told why he was there. We did get confirmation there have been pitches within NXT to use Samoa Joe, however.

WWE could use Samoa Joe in a variety of ways upon his return to the company. They must work out a deal first. Joe is also someone who could really benefit Impact Wrestling or AEW if he decided to sign with either of those companies. Obviously, Impact Wrestling would love to have Joe back and AEW is wide open when it comes to possibilities.
