WWE Hall Of Famer Edge last competed at WrestleMania 37, where he faced off against Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship in the main event of Night Two of the pay-per-view.

Edge would be unable to win the match and become the WWE Universal Champion. Since then, the Rated R Superstar has been absent from WWE television and fans have been wondering about the reason for his absence.

It was previously reported that Edge will be returning on the July 16th edition of Friday Night Smackdown. On top of that, Edge is very likely to be a part of the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view card.

Now it seems more details regarding WWE’s plans for the WWE Hall Of Famer have been revealed. According to a report by Jon Alba, it was stated that Edge is “penciled in” to be on the card for SummerSlam and that is expected to work as a babyface.
