Brodie Lee Jr Kept Off AEW Television For Not Doing Schoolwork

Son of the late AEW star Brodie Lee, Brodie Lee jr., has not been making appearances on AEW television for the majority of the past few weeks.

Brodie Lee Jr. frequently made appearances on AEW television in the past, so fans wondered why he was absent for so long. Now it seems the reason for his absence has been revealed.

Amanda Huber, Brodie Lee jr’s mother, took to Instagram and uploaded a video of her two sons. A fan joked that -1 has been absent for so long due to falling grades and it seems that it exactly what happened.

Amanda Huber saw the fan’s comment and decided to reply to it, stating that she didn’t allow Brodie Lee jr to go to AEW shows because he stopped doing his schoolwork.

“100%. He stopped doing his work so he lost privileges. I don’t make money off any appearances he does at AEW, it’s purely for fun. It’s his favorite place in the world and a reward for hard work. He managed to finish his school year with all A’s and B’s despite slipping up a bit. I’m very proud of him.”

It is to be noted that Brodie Lee jr made his return on recent episodes of Dark and Elevation, so it is safe to assume -1 is working hard in school again. He already has a guarantees contract with AEW when he becomes of age, but All Elite Wrestling also wants him to focus on his schooling, and so does his mother.
