Event With Alberto Del Rio Called Out For Copying SummerSlam Poster

Albert Del Rio generates quite a controversy wherever he goes. He has pending kidnapping and assault charges, a court case that he is still waiting to proceed. His next court date on that is slated to be August 2nd, but he has an event already on the books for September 31st at the Hecho En Mexico TakeOver.

A poster for that event has started going around Twitter. It’s pretty apparent what kind of look the event was going for. Fans were quick to point out that the poster drew striking similarities to SummerSlam 2019’s poster.

Instead of Brock Lesnar, Becky Lynch, Roman Reigns, Kofi Kingston, and Seth Rollins, this new poster featured wrestlers who will be at that event. Some of those names are former WWE Superstars like Alberto Del Rio, Sin Cara, Andrade El Idolo, and Carlito.

This poster is gaining in popularity as many fans are sharing it for different reasons. Some have observed that the new incarnation of this poster idea might look like an even better show.
