Aleister Black’s run in the WWE had its fair share of ups and downs over the years. While his time in NXT was certainly a memorable one, to say the least, his main roster run in comparison was not memorable at all.
Aleister Black had a lot of issues with WWE Creative as a lot of his ideas were eventually shot down and he was left off WWE television for many months until his release from the company last week.
While speaking on Renee Paquette’s Oral Sessions, Aleister Black discussed one of the biggest issues that is plaguing WWE right now, and it is something other WWE Superstars and writing staff also agree with.
Aleister Black stated that WWE has a problem of not focusing on other WWE Superstars apart from those who are being pushed. Black added that the company needs to have a continuous stream of people being built up.
“Yeah, I think that issue is, is that there is not a focus on the people around the main people being pushed. You have to have a continuous stream of people being built up, people being able to be revered by fans and being built up through the eyes of the fans, so that people care. I think that’s a problem.
And nothing that I’m saying right now is shocking news because that’s the main consensus with a lot of people, is that there’s not enough focus on multiple people, because why would you not make everyone you are using strong? It is (WWE) a very busy, ever-changing landscape and you can only do so much. As a talent, you can only do so much, producers can only do so much, creative writing staff can only do so much.”
WWE continues to have numerous issues when it comes to building up credible Superstars and it is not known whether the company will ever rectify these issues or not.
