Christian Cage Match Announced for This Week’s AEW Dynamite

AEW’s Double Or Nothing pay-per-view featured the traditional Casino Battle Royal match, where the winner would receive a shot at the AEW World Championship.

Matt Hardy was a participant in the Battle Royale where he was among the final three in the match, including Christian Cage and Jungle Boy. At that time Matt Hardy believed Christian Cage would help him eliminate Jungle Boy as they have known each other for several years.

However, instead of helping him, Christian Cage threw Hardy over the top rope. Since then Matt Hardy has been engaged in a feud with Christian Cage and has been hell-bent on destroying cage.

Matt Hardy took to Twitter and uploaded a video where he was seen talking to TH2 and offered to pray a lot of money for them to take out Christian Cage. Ultimately Angelico agreed to the match and later on, the match was made official for this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

We will have to wait and see just how the feud between Matt Hardy and Christian Cage will continue to develop as the two certainly have a lot of history together that the company should explore.
