WWE Evolution was a big night for women’s wrestling but Vince McMahon’s company has yet to produce another all-female event. The NWA will pick up that idea and has plans to run that unique show.

Maria Kanellis was straight-up told by Mark Carrano that WWE would never hold an all-female event, but they did. Sadly, they have yet to repeat Evolution. Fans of women’s wrestling might want to start watching the NWA more often.

According to a report from Fightful Select, the NWA is planning an all-female pay-per-view. It appears that August 28th is the date for the event at this time. The name of this upcoming all-female event was not reported.

National Wrestling Alliance has been working on and plans to announce an all-women’s PPV for later this year. August 28 was the preliminary date that we’d heard, but we’ve not heard that officially from the company as of yet.

The NWA has not confirmed those plans publicly yet. We’ll have to see if they change their idea about the event. August 28th is also the night that Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley will battle for Showtime boxing. Odds are that will be very stiff competition in the pay-per-view market that night.
