Aleister Black was released from WWE when Vince McMahon made the decision to cut him. He had just made a return to television and then he was released. This came as a huge surprise for fans, but Aleister Black is ensuring fans that it’s not the writing team’s fault.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Vince McMahon had already made the decision to release Aleister Black when they didn’t follow up on his storyline with Big E. Now Big E has no opponent since Vince McMahon has not signed off on anything yet.

While speaking on his Twitch stream, Aleister Black said that fans shouldn’t be mad at WWE creative. They tried their hardest to make things happen for him, and they are good people. He even claimed that Bruce Prichard tried to protect him.

“Money in the Bank with AJ, when I stepped out of the dark and into the dark, that was the first time I did what I wanted to do. It got praised. Don’t get mad at our creative. They try their absolute hardest and there are good people working there. I’m very thankful for our creative and have had a good relationship with Bruce [Prichard]. He tried to protect me in a lot of situations. He wanted to get me out of the room. The consensus was ‘no one moves like him or has his intensity.’ My style was a hybrid of traditional wrestling and new age striking. In the last five years, I’ve proven to be one of the most influential strikers of this generation and I will continue to do that.”

We’ll have to see what is in Aleister Black’s future. Odds are he will appear as Tommy End wherever he does show up next. This is an exciting time as he turns another chapter and it doesn’t sound like he is holding any grudges at this point either.
