AEW brought Double or Nothing for fans last week, and they followed it up with an episode of Dynamite on Friday at 10:00 PM EST. That new timeslot doesn’t seem to be working out too well as they didn’t break 500,000 viewers this week.
AEW had to move Dynamite last week due to the NBA Playoffs. That change did a number on their viewership in a big way. Their viewership fell nearly 40% from the previous week with that Friday night move.

According to a new report from PW Torch, AEW Dynamite drew 462,000 viewers last week. That is down from the previous week’s average by around 40,000.
Dave Meltzer reported that last week’s AEW Dynamite saw an overnight average 500,810 viewers. That was down a whopping 38% from the previous. They were also in a much different time slot. The previous week’s AEW Dynamite brought in 821,000 viewers with a .28 in the coveted 18-49 demographic.
The previous week’s episode of AEW Dynamite brought in an overnight average of 936.000 viewers this week with a .31 rating in the 18-49 demographic. That episode saw Miro walk away as TNT Champion after demolishing Darby Allin.
AEW Dynamite’s Blood & Guts special drew an overnight average of 1.09 million viewers with a .42 in the 18-49 demographic. This put AEW Dynamite as #1 on cable for the first time ever.
Last week brought in an average of 889,000 overnight viewers with a .33 in the 28-49 demographic. They brought in an overnight average of 1.1 million viewers the previous week and scored a .37 in the 18-49 demographic.
The week prior brought in 1.219 million overnight viewers. They also captured a .44 in the 18-49 demographic. That was an incredible jump from the previous week, but it was also their first night without WWE NXT competition on Wednesdays.
