The Miz Reveals True Feelings About Zombie Lumberjack Match

The Miz suffered an injury at WrestleMania Backlash during a zombie lumberjack match. Ringside News exclusive reported that WWE brought in 7 figures thanks to that promotional deal with Army of the Dead thanks to Nick Khan. The Miz had a lot of fun despite his injury.

While speaking to Forbes, the Miz said that he really enjoyed that unique match. He was injured in the process, but he took the outside the box concept and ran with it. He had no idea how fans would react to it.

“I had a blast with it. I always enjoy whenever there’s something different and something out of the box, and whenever there’s something like that, I wanna be a part of it because you never know what’s going to happen. You never know if it’s gonna be a success or if it’s gonna be a failure.”

WWE filmed that zombie lumberjack match in advance. The Miz gave his all, but there was no chance for a reshoot. He really couldn’t compete after suffering some sort of ACL injury.

The Miz also said that he is uncertain how long he’ll be out of action. He doesn’t foresee himself being on the sidelines for nine months as it was previously feared. After all, he has already made his return to WWE television since then.
