As seen on this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, Rey Mysterio and his son Dominik Mysterio defended their Smackdown Tag Team Titles against The Usos to open the show.
While the Myserios ended up winning the match, the decision was overturned after it was revealed that Uso’s shoulder was up during the pinfall, leading to a rematch taking place at the end of the show.
This time around, when it seemed as of The Usos were going to lose again, Roman Reigns interfered and attacked the Mysterios, ending the match in disqualification. Reigns then continued to absolutely decimate both Rey and Dominik Mysterio to close out the show.
Roman Reigns then took to Twitter and reacted to the carnage he has caused, as the WWE Universal Champion simply stated that if one wants something done, then one should do it himself.
You want something done, do it yourself. #WreckEveryoneAndLeave #Smackdown
At this moment there is no idea as to who Roman Reigns’ challenger will be for the WWE Universal Championship at the WWE Hell In A Cell pay-per-view later this month. We will have to see if Reigns’ beatdown on the Mysterios has any storyline significance.
