Andrade was released from his WWE contract without any non-compete clause attached. That is how he was able to show up in AEW so soon. It also appears that AEW gave Andrade a manager in Vickie Guerrero, and that pair seems to mesh perfectly.
Following his big AEW debut, Andrade El Idolo tweeted out “Gracias Vickie Guerrero for a great introduction to the world of AEW.”
We’ll have to see if Vickie Guerrero and Nyla Rose’s partnership continues. It appears that AEW is building a stable around Guerrero’s leadership. This is an exciting time, especially if you’re one of the many fans who always wanted more for Andrade.
