WWE was making plans for Aleister Black just before they decided to release him. He returned to television and started a feud with Big E, but that wasn’t slated to really go anywhere. That repackaging for Black also came with a new entrance. Sadly, fans never got to see it.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE had new entrance music commissioned for Aleister Black. Obviously, WWE was making some sort of plan for Black’s new persona on television, but that planned return never happened.
The angle wasn’t followed up on during the 5/28 show and Black wasn’t on that show, so they did likely make the decision between those two dates. They also just commissioned new entrance music for him for his planned return.
We’ll have to see where Aleister Black ends up next. As Tommy End, he could kick a hole through any roster he decides to join. It’s hard to imagine that he will be ignored once his 90-day non-compete clause is over.
Fans will likely be chanting: “Tommy F*cking End!” once again very soon. They won’t be chanting that excited profanity-filled cheer over his new WWE entrance music. Perhaps Vince McMahon’s company will save that for someone else down the line.
Where should Tommy End go next? Sound off in the comments!
