The Inner Circle and The Pinnacle had been embroiled in a blood feud ever since The Pinnacle made their debut back in March of this year, where they decimated The Inner Circle.
Since then the two stables faced each other in a ‘Blood & Guts’ match and Stadium Stampede match. While The Pinnacle own the ‘Blood & Guts’ match, The Inner Circle managed to win the Stadium Stampede match.
The ending to the match featured Sammy Guevara hitting a 630 Splash on Shawn Spears to pick up the win for his team. It all took place in front of a live audience and there was a massive pop for their triumphant victory.
While speaking to Busted Open Radio, Sammy Guevara talked about the Stadium Stampede match. Guevara then claimed that he was the one who suggested that the Stadium Stampede end in the ring in front of the live crowd.
“It was my idea to have the match go from the cinematic to end it into the live crowd. And they actually went with it. I was surprised too. Tony and Chris came up to me and said ‘that was a really good idea.’ I figured others went up to them and told them that idea, but apparently, no one else did. They gave me credit for it, so that was really cool.”
Sammy Guevara will continue to be part of the Inner Circle and judging by his incredible performance at the Stadium Stampede match, he is likely going to get a solid push soon enough.
