WWE released six Superstars this week, but they didn’t really plot it out too well. Now six Superstars, some top-tier names, will be free agents by the first week of September, just days before AEW All Out in Chicago on September 5th.

Releases WWE main roster Superstars have 90-day non-compete clauses. WWE NXT Superstars have 30-day non-compete clauses. This new crop of free agents is set to hit the market in early September, but the exact date is currently a matter of debate.

PW Insider reports that those released Superstars will be available from September 6th to the 10th. It isn’t clear exactly which date they will be clear at this point. That would cause them to miss the All Out event by, at least, a day.

90-day non-compete clauses typically last exactly 90 days. If that is true in this case, then those recently released Superstars will be available on August 31. That would give someone all plenty of time to appear at All Out.

We will have to see how this situation works itself out. There has been no official date announced for those clauses ending. We’ll likely know whenever one of them reveals which date they are really clear to compete.

None of the recently released WWE Superstars will be available by Impact Wrestling’s Slammiversary event on July 17th, but Impact is teasing a few stars from the company’s April 15th crop of releases.
