Lucha Libre Star Pasion Kristal Passes Away By Drowning

We are very sad to learn about the passing of Lucha Libre Exotico star Pasion Kristal. The popular lucha libre wrestler was only 45-years-old.

According to TV Azteca in Mexico, Kristal was in Acapulso for a show and drowned while swimming at the beach. Pasion Kristal’s body has not been recovered as of this writing.

Kristal broke into pro wrestling for AAA in 1994 and worked as part of the Los Exoticos stable with Pimpenella Escarlata and Cassandro. Kristal was also a regular in IWRG in Mexico in recent years.

Tributes are pouring in from the pro wrestling community after this sad passing. WWE NXT Superstar Franky Monet tweeted out: “I really don’t have the words right now. You were always so sweet to me since I got to MX. We’ve wrestled together countless times, u always booked me on ur shows in Tabasco. Trips filled w laughter, dancin to Britney and eating dinner at your moms. You were a gift, RIP Chiquita.” She continued this tribute with two more tweets which you can find below.

Hopefully, they can recover Pasion Kristal’s body. At this time a search is still ongoing. We are sending our best to Pasion Kristal’s family and friends during this tragic time.
