WWE NXT Superstar Debuts New Name This Week

WWE will sometimes change up a Superstar’s name prior to really breaking them out on television. This week fans finally saw who received one mystery name that they company recently trademarked.

Christian Casanova is now Carmelo Hayes and he answered KUSHIDA’s Cruiserweight Open Challenge. This was a very competitive match and Hayes had a chance to really prove why he’s in the black and gold brand.

WWE NXT registered two names at the same time last week, Carmelo Hayes and Trey Baxter. We have yet to see Trey Baxter, but we know who Hayes is now.

Carmelo Hayes did not win his match against KUSHIDA on NXT this week. Following the match, he received an ovation from the Capital Wrestling City crowd.
