Former WWE Superstar and current NJPW star Lio Rush made his debut at the AEW Double Or Nothing pay-per-view as the mystery entrant for the Casino Battle Royal match, much to the delight of fans.
Double or Nothing also featured the debut of Mark Henry, who will be a special analyst for AEW Rampage. Due to both Rush and Henry being in the same company, many fans were wondering if their previous issues were still there.
Last year, Mark Henry and Lio Rush engaged in a war of words after Henry alleged that Rush lied to his face about not having heat in WWE. This eventually led to Mark Henry threatening to sue Lio Rush, which had no effect on Rush as stated he didn’t owe Henry anything.
Many fans believed the two would never be in the same company ever again, but that changed on Sunday. Lio Rush took to Twitter and revealed that he and Mark Henry had a long conversation backstage at AEW Double Or Nothing.
“For those of you wondering….Yes me and Mark Henry ha a long in depth conversation last night. Looking forward to the future.”
From the looks of it, it seems Lio Rush and Mark Henry have buried the hatchet for good, which is certainly great news for both of them. Lio Rush also has a handshake deal with AEW and it is likely fans will get to see more of him in the weeks to come.
