Jimmy Smith Considered A ‘Natural Fit’ On WWE RAW

Jimmy Smith made his debut on the red brand this week and his performance already receive a lot of praise within the fan base. You can click here for some of those early reactions. The positivity apparently translated backstage as well.

Following his debut performance on WWE RAW this week, Wrestle Votes reports that Jimmy Smith received glowing reviews backstage. It was said that the overall opinion is that he did a great job and was a “natural fit.”

The RAW production people I’ve spoken with were absolutely thrilled with Jimmy Smith’s performance last night. “Tremendous” & “Natural fit” were two comments concerning his debut.

We will have to see how long Jimmy Smith lasts as WWE’s play-by-play announcer on RAW. It is a very tough position to hold down, but he is also following Adnan Virk who wasn’t the best at the job.
