Fans Give Big Props To Jimmy Smith For WWE RAW Debut

Jimmy Smith started on WWE RAW this week as a replacement for Adnan Virk. Fans panned Virk after every broadcast, but that is not the case for Smith. The former Bellator announcer has been largely praised.

Fans largely praised Jimmy Smith for his announcing on WWE RAW. There were others who said that he fit right in on commentary. There is a reason for that, because he has experience in combat sports.

A number of fans also reminded each other that they are comparing Jimmy Smith to Adnan Virk, someone who came in with zero experience calling any type of fighting action. Smith knows how to keep the pace and roll with the punches, no pun intended.

“Jimmy Smith has done play by play before and he knows what he’s doing – novelty concept,” one fan tweeted out. “Here to make the unique point that Jimmy Smith is doing a neat job,” tweeted another.

We’ll have to see how Jimmy Smith does in the weeks to come, but he seems to be off to a good start.
