AEW has three current shows and they are about to add a fourth with Rampage. Their two Dark shows are about to see a bit of a change soon enough, because they have been historically very long.

During the post-Double or Nothing media scrum, Tony Khan discussed AEW’s plan for Rampage to be a live show. That additional hour of programming will cause AEW Dark and Elevation will change formats due to the addition of Rampage.

“They’ll be different. They’ll change. The formats will change, too. They’ll be different. Elevation and Dark will be different, too. So when Rampage comes in that’ll change how we do things. Dynamite will be live every week when we come back in July in Miami on July 7th and then we’ll be live every week from then on.”

We’ll have to see how many fans tune in to see Rampage on Friday, August 13th, but Tony Khan seems very excited about the possibilities. AEW will also have to work out another hour of programming so AEW Dark might not be a 15-match show anymore.

What’s your take on AEW expanding their programming? Sound off in the comments!
