Cody Rhodes Hints At AEW Introducing New Titles

AEW has a lot of titles floating around, and they also have several factions and teams of varying sizes. The company could have something in store that would make those teams very happy. They might soon have something special to fight for.

While speaking on a media call before Double Or Nothing, Cody Rhodes confirmed that AEW will not rename the TNT Title. The TBS Title will not become a thing, but he did tease that they might introduce something else to the picture.

“The TBS title has not been discussed yet, but another title as a lot of people can guess has been the title that has been more discussed about potentially coming in the future. I’ll let y’all speculate on what that is. Hint hint, we have a lot of people, teams, on the roster.”

There are a lot of teams in AEW and some of them could be trios. The idea of a 6-person tag team title has floated around AEW for a while. Kenny Omega even mentioned it on the Chris Jericho Cruise. That might become a serious possibility.
