WWE Books Loaded SmackDown Next Week Against NBA Playoffs

WWE has a lot going on and we might see a title change before the next pay-per-view event. The SmackDown Tag Team Titles were already set to be defended next week, but the company wasn’t done adding to next week’s card. The NBA Playoffs is giving the blue brand plenty of reason to book a strong show.

Kevin Owens has been chasing Apollo Crews and the IC Title. It seemed that he was going to get his opportunity this week, but Commander Azeez invaded the match and hit a Nigerian Nail to cause a DQ.

Owens was hurt and sold that nail shot like a champ. Then he demanded a rematch. Later on, WWE Official Adam Pearce made a rematch official. Next week Kevin Owens will face Apollo Crews with the IC Title on the line, and Commander Azeez will be barred from ringside.

This title match joins another exciting title match as The Usos will face the SmackDown Tag Team Champions Rey & Dominik Mysterio with the titles on the line. Jimmy and Jey used had their first match back tonight against the Street Profits and they came out victorious.
