The pro wrestling world is certainly an unpredictable one as anything could happen at any time. This includes partnerships between companies that fans never thought would ever take place in the past.
As reported earlier, NJPW and WWE are currently in talks in order to form a possible partnership in the future. This move was made by WWE President Nick Khan, who is trying to make a deal with NJPW so that WWE may become the exclusive United States partner for New Japan Pro Wrestling.
This news certainly caused a frenzy on social media as fans and pro wrestlers alike began speculating about the possible partnership between WWE and NJPW. Now it seems a WWE Superstar has also decided to reference the possible partnership.
Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of his upcoming match against Kofi Kingston on Monday Night RAW along with a photo of the two facing off in the past.
Drew McIntyre also included a very interesting caption about the match but it also referenced NJPW and WWE’s current talks. If one reads the first letter of each line, it spells out ”OKADA” which is an obvious reference to NJPW star Kazuchika Okada.
On Monday
Kofi will
Accept his
Doom
At my hands
Many fans also noticed Drew McIntyre’s amusing reference to Okada and pointed it out as well. We will have to see who will come out on top in the match between Drew McIntyre and Kofi Kingston for the #1 Contender’s spot for the WWE Championship on the upcoming episode of Monday Night RAW.
