Britt Baker made her way to AEW back in 2019 and is one of the original stars of the women’s division in the company. She was initially not received all that well by fans.

However, after a lot of hard work and improved direction in character, Britt Baker has become one of the mainstays of AEW television and touted as the face of the division.

She is also a practicing dentist apart from being a pro wrestler and it seems that has drawn criticism from fans who think she isn’t committed to being a pro wrestler as she is a dentist.

While speaking to Busted Open Radio, Britt Baker admitted that it irks her that people think she isn’t committed to pro wrestling due to her profession as a dentist.

“I get kind of pissed off when people point out the fact that I have two careers and use it against me saying ‘oh she’s not committed to wrestling,”‘No I am, I’m just that much committed to another career too. I have no time off. So when the wrestlers are at home for the week, enjoying time with their families, going out, going to parties, I’m working. I just don’t have time off. I put just as much, probably double the time into professional wrestling as anyone else. And that’s why I’m the face of AEW.”

Britt Baker is set to challenge Hikaru Shida for the AEW Women’s Champioship at AEW Double or Nothing on May 30. We will have to see if she can win the title or not.
