WWE fired Mark Carrano after Mickie James revealed that she received her belongings via a trash bag care package after her WWE release. This upset a lot of people and Carrano was axed.

Following his firing, Carrano’s ex fired even more shots at him. She accused him of being controlling, and even he even tried to kill her cat. She also called him out for stealing WWE Title belts and stashing them under a bed in his guest room.

According to a report from PW Insider, Mark Carrano was replaced. John Cone was placed in his old role. Cone is now the #2 man in talent relations within the company.

John Cone, who has replaced Mark Carrano as the number two in the talent relations department, has been getting high marks from talents we’ve spoken to and is well liked thus far into his tenure under John Laurinaitis.

This move for Cone has to make Mick Foley happy. Foley pulled for WWE to re-hire John Cone in his talent relations role when he was fired from the position. He was given his spot back in rapid fashion and received a promotion soon after that.

Jason Jordan is also taking on his new responsibilities backstage. There have been some additions to the backstage staff with new non-wrestling personnel in recent memory. It seems that WWE switched around a few things in recent weeks.
