Finn Balor is one of the top Superstars on NXT as he is a former 2-time NXT Champion and has competed in high profile matches since his return to NXT back in 2019. Before that, Balor was working in the main roster for a few years, where he was not utilized well.

His final program on the main roster saw him engage in a feud with Bray Wyatt’s The Fiend, who had just made his debut in the company. The two would face off against each other at SummerSlam 2019 and it saw The Fiend squash Finn Balor to win the match.

While it made The Fiend look strong, it certainly did no favors for Finn Balor’s character. While speaking on Ryan Satin’s Out of Character podcast, Finn Balor revealed that he wants to continue his feud with The Fiend again somewhere down the line.

“I thought it was great. I feel like it’s what it needed to be. It was the debut of The Fiend and he needed to be strong. I feel like that character is evolving. I think it’s one of the coolest things in wrestling. I hope it has a lot more years to come. I hope we get to go back to The Prince versus The Fiend. I hope we get to go back to The Demon versus The Fiend. And I love it [The Fiend].”

Bray Wyatt hasn’t been seen on WWE television since his loss to Randy Orton at WrestleMania 37. We certainly wonder if The Fiend and Finn Balor will cross paths again in the future.
