EJ Nduka was Ezra Judge in NXT, but the company cut him. This was a big surprise for many people, including the man himself. He is a huge man who loves pro wrestling, a bodybuilder with amazing athletic potential, but it didn’t pan out for him.
While speaking to Fightful, EJ Nduka said that he was “blindsided” by his WWE release. He didn’t see it coming, but he sees promising things in his future.
“I still feel kind of blindsided, but at the same time I feel full of faith. I know the future has a lot and is very promising. I’m still processing things and it’s fresh. Feeling blindsided is an understatement. How everything happened was out of nowhere.”
EJ Nduka was very blunt about how much he loves pro wrestling. He ingests all of the tape and programming he could. He fell in love with pro wrestling and it doesn’t sound like he will turn away from his goal to become a top pro wrestler.
“I fell in love with this business in the last 20 months. This business is unique, amazing, and captivating. It’s something I’ve fell in love with. I love going to practice, going to weights, watching film, skull (sessions), all that stuff. There’s so much detail and so much to it. I was telling my buddy, ‘If I have to go to war, I’m bringing a wrestler with me.’ Wrestlers are some of the most phenomenal athletes in the world and you have to ben mentally sharp and cognitive.”
EJ Nduka is a huge man with unlimited potential. His release was a big surprise for a lot of people. We’ll have to see what is next for Nduka, but the sky seems to be the limit at this point. He is still under his 30-day non-compete clause so we’ll have to wait until July to find out what he’s doing next.
