WWE’s next pay-per-view is Hell in a Cell on June 20th. That card has a lot of open slots and zero Hell in a Cell matches booked yet. The plans have also drastically changed backstage.
The company has several feuds that they could place in the dreaded Hell in a Cell structure. Roman Reigns vs Jimmy Uso, Seth Rollins vs Cesaro, or Bobby Lashley vs Drew McIntyre could all go inside a Hell in a Cell match. You can also never count out Rhea Ripley or Bianca Belair defending their titles inside the steel cell structure.
Ringside News asked around about the status of the Hell in a Cell card. We were told that “the entire card has not only not been booked.” At this point “what has been booked is already changing drastically.”
Nothing has been decided for Hell in a Cell just yet. Those plans that they did have needed to be shifted around. The company is closing up May and now has less than one month to book Hell in a Cell. Odds are those matches will start coming in slowly.
Hell in a Cell will be the final pay-per-view event in the ThunderDome before the company hits the road again on July 16th.
Ringside News exclusively reported a few weeks ago that the company doesn’t have anything nailed down for SummerSlam either. Those plans will come together, but July’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view is the biggest immediate event on the horizon as it will mark the return of live fans.
