Former Intercontinental Champion Big E is undoubtedly one of the best Superstars in the company right now. He has proved himself to be a commendable worker and is destined for great things.
While speaking to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, New Day member Kofi Kingston talked about the Money In The Bank match. Kingston stated that someone like Big E would be a great fit for the match.
Kofi Kingston elaborated that there are not many people like Big E who can move at the speed that he does despite being a big man. Someone like Big E hasn’t been seen in a Money In The Bank match and his freak skills would be great to see in the match.
“E would be a great fit because he would bring a lot of things to the table you hadn’t seen before, there aren’t a lot of people that move like Big E that are built like him in a Money in the Bank match.
“What I love about Money in the Bank is the fact that you have so many people in the ring together that are different in size, stature, and style. People forget this about Big E – he’s kind of a freak. Yes, he’s got all these muscles and he’s a strong guy, but he does so much more. He’s athletic, and he’s dangerously quick.”
While Big E has yet to compete in a Money In The Bank match, Kofi Kingston currently has the record for most Money in the Bank appearances with seven and is tied with Kane. The Money In the Bank pay-per-view will have fans in attendance and is set to take place on July 18
Big E was unable to win the fatal four-way Intercontinental match on this week’s episode of Friday Smackdown after a returning Aleister Black came out and attacked Big E, costing him the match. We will have to see how the feud between the two will be booked.
