Aleister Black had been appearing in mysterious vignettes for the past few weeks on Friday Night Smackdown, which made fans anticipate his return. On this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, Aleister Black finally made his shocking return.
In the main event of the show, Apollo Crews defended the Intercontinental Title against Big E, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn. When it seemed as if Big E was going to win the match, Aleister Black suddenly came out and hit a Black Mass on Big E, costing him the match.
After the match concluded, Aleister Black took to Instagram and decided to troll Big E by uploading a photo of himself with the caption as The New Day’s signature catchphrase.
It’s a New Day, yes it is!
It is evident that Aleister Black and Big E will be engaged in a feud for the foreseeable future. Perhaps the winner of the feud will eventually go on to challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship. We will have to see how WWE will book their feud.
