Chelsea Green had a run of bad luck with injuries and that required her to go under the knife a couple of times. She recently had another procedure done just to take pins out from a previous operation.
Green is on the mend again, but she won’t miss any actual time in the ring. She still has a bit of time before her 90-day non-compete clause is up.
According to Fightful Select, the procedure that Chelsea Green had comes with a six-week recovery time. That should give her enough room to get healed up and ready for action again.
We’re told that the recovery time is only about six weeks, and she’ll be healthy and cleared ahead of her free agency period on July 15 if all goes well.
It was reported that Chelsea Green’s bone was “swelling and rejecting the plate” that they installed during her surgery. WWE wanted Green to keep her plate in, and that made it easier for her arm to break in November 2020.
WWE had advised Green to keep the plate in, which actually made her more susceptible to the November 2020 arm break.
It was previously reported that Chelsea Green is already talking to Impact Wrestling. It is not known exactly how far along those talks are.
