WWE made the big announcement yesterday that they are hitting the road again. They announced a 25-city tour, but only three dates have been confirmed so far. The company hit the ground running with promotional campaigns to let everyone know that they are coming home.

According to PW Insider, WWE talent were not given any kind of warning about this announcement or the dates. They found out when everyone else did in the last few weeks as reports started coming out. There was no official announcement to talent prior to letting the world know about their plans.

While talents were not given the heads up on the announcement or dates, it had been informally passed along in recent weeks that plans to return to the road would be forthcoming in the near future.

The company kept all plans “extremely close to the vest” and didn’t let anyone know about their official announcement. This was announced via a press release to prevent leaks, but it was also because anything can change when talking about a panemic.
