WWE is returning to the road in July, but they have not announced anything official. Still, enough reports have come out that fans know what to expect. They just have no idea where they will be heading on tour.

Fox executives have obviously read those reports as well. They would like some answers. After all, Fox is paying WWE a ton of money to air Friday Night SmackDown.

According to Wrestle Votes, Fox is pressing WWE for information regarding their return to touring. This is very important information that has apparently not been shared yet, but Fox would like to remedy that situation.

Heard from a very reliable source that FOX has privately pushed for a return to live crowds over the past few weeks, actively seeking updates on timeframes, etc. They’d like their billion dollar investment on the same playing field as the MLB, NBA & others.

WWE is taking their time announcing a return to touring. Some fans expected that big announcement to take place during WrestleMania Backlash, but they didn’t tell us anything. They did announce Hell in a Cell four months early which made tons of fans wonder what is going on.

Money In The Bank is set to be the first pay-per-view with live fans. The Friday Night SmackDown on July 16th, the go-home show before MITB, is expected to be the actual return of live fans. Once WWE starts touring again they have no plans to stop. Fox is still apparently waiting for some official updates.

Are you excited about WWE returning to the road? Where should they go next? Sound off in the comments!
