Drew McIntyre remains one of the top Superstars in WWE and certainly has a lot of passion for the pro wrestling business. He is a former two-time WWE Champion and was the face of the company during the pandemic era as the WWE Champion.

While speaking on WWE’s The Bump, the former WWE Champion talked about his WWE WrestleMania Backlash match against Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman for the WWE Championship.

“Yeah, it’s been a crazy week this week. On Sunday, Braun [Strowman], myself and Lashley beat the absolute hell out of each other. It showed what big modern men are capable of. In the end, as physical as it was, Braun still lost the match. Lashley is still the champion. That’s the beauty of a triple threat match.”

Drew McIntyre was also part of the 3MB stable alongside Jinder Mahal and Heath Slater back in 2014. Mahal recently made his return to WWE and last week, he had some scathing words for Drew McIntyre. Drew McIntyre responded to Mahal’s words and teased a potential feud in the process.

“[Jinder] is one of my closest friends in the world, but he’s been a little bit off since he got hurt. Honestly, he’s been at Raw, and he’s been ducking me. It seems we might need to have a little chat.”

Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal certainly has a lot of history, so a feud between the two would certainly make sense as it seems McIntyre will no longer be in the WWE Championship picture for the foreseeable future.
