The life of a pro wrestler is certainly a very difficult one, to say the least. On top of putting one’s body on the line every week for the enjoyment of fans, a pro wrestler is also on the road for the majority of the year, especially if one works in WWE.

AEW star Jon Moxley, who has been part of the pro wrestling business for a very long time, has certainly faced the biggest hurdles when it comes to being a pro wrestler. While speaking to Garry Cassidy of Inside The Ropes, Jon Moxley delved into detail regarding his journey in the the pro wrestling world.

Jon Moxley revealed that travelling is the hardest part of being a pro wrestler and that he actually gets paid to travel all year, adding that it takes years off of one’s life. Moxley also stated that competing inside the ring is the only release from travelling.

“When you’re doing it at a high level, yeah, the travel is definitely the hardest part. I used to say, like, and a lot of people say that you get paid to travel, the wrestling is the fun part. It’s the bonus part. Being in the ring for 15-20 minutes every night is your release.”

Jon Moley is still in the prime of his pro wrestling career and is prepared to do a lot of travelling as he simply loves being a pro wrestler. With AEW slated to go back on the road starting from July this year, it seems Moxley will become busier.
