WWE will tell their fans who they want them to cheer for in the ThunderDome. The fans aren’t actually heard, but their visible reactions are all WWE needs to tell the story. They are telling a very confusing story with Angel Garza.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez noted that through all of Garza’s heel antics, the ThunderDome is still told to cheer for the Lothario. Angel Garza shoved a rose in Drew Gulak’s mouth, but the fans were supposed to cheer this.
“Byron Saxton is the babyface announcer and he is disgusted by this, Corey Graves is the heel announcer and he thinks this was awesome. Also, for the record, the guy in the ThunderDome told everyone to make sure to cheer for Angel Garza. So, nobody knows what’s going on with Angel Garza.”
It is a very interesting situation right now but WWE won’t have the luxury of confusing fans with forced reactions soon enough. Live fans will return in July, marking the start of organic reactions once again. That might be quite a wakeup call for Vince McMahon once he really gets to hear how fans feel about the company’s booking direction.
What would you do with Angel Garza at this point? Is he a heel or a babyface? Sound off in the comments!
