Another Match Confirmed For AEW Dynamite This Week

Last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite was a night of solid action and memorable moments. The company is now set on topping last week’s episode with this week’s show. They have added another match to an already-stacked card for this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

On this week’s episode of AEW Dark: Elevation, Dr. Britt Baker interrupted Alex Marvez’s interview with Kris Statlader and gloated about being the #1 contender for the AEW Women’s Title. Suddenly, Hikaru Shida came out with a kendo stick and surprised Baker and Rebel.

Rebel tried to stop Shida with her crutch, but Shida hit it away with her kendo stick. Shida then told her to “bring it.” to which Britt Baker said, “Oh, she’ll bring it on Dynamite.”

Tony Khan would then officially announce that Hikaru Shida will be squaring off against Rebel on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite in a singles match.

Hikaru Shida is also scheduled to defend her AEW Women’s World Championship against Britt Baker at AEW Double Or Nothing at May 30. We will have to see if Shida will be able to retain her title against Britt Baker.
