Cesaro Says He Can Be The Face of WWE

Cesaro is undoubtedly one of the best in-ring performers in the WWE right now and has proven that fact over the years. After many years of hard work, Cesaro is finally getting his due as he is set to face Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship on this Sunday’s WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view.

While Cesaro is only getting the chance now, he has always been a fan-favorite for many years. However, there are also those who believe he simply has no personality and couldn’t be the face of the company. Those in WWE also share the same sentiment.

While speaking to Sports Illustrated, Cesaro discussed the connection he has with his fans and struck a chord with them, due to which Cesaro believes that he can be the face of the company.

“I feel like I have this special connection with the WWE universe where for the past nine years, they’ve seen what I’m about, rather than me saying what I’m about.

So, that’s something that is very hard to describe but I feel like I struck a chord with a lot of people who are watching, and that’s upset important, you can’t fake that and you can’t buy that.”

We will have to see if The Swiss Superman will finally live up to his potential and beat Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Title at WrestleMania Backlash.
