Tamina Breaks Into Tears While Getting Side Plates For WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles

Tamina Snuka and Natalya fought hard to get another shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. Their big win on SmackDown came after WrestleMania where they were unable to pull down the belts. Their match against Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler had a much different result this week on SmackDown.

WWE got right to work on installing the new champions’ side plates. When Tamina Snuka saw this, she broke into tears. It meant the world to finally be able to call herself a champion in WWE.

Tamina said she feels “so grateful, so blessed” while wrapping her new title around her shoulder. It is a very good fit on her. “Just never giving up and always going forward and look at what happens. You achieve something that you’ve always wanted to have.” Then Tamina admitted that she doesn’t even know how to hold a title yet. She will learn.

Natalya hugged Tamina and there were some tears shed as well. It was a very special moment for Tamina and Natalya on the go-home SmackDown before WrestleMania Backlash.
