Sonya Deville avoided a scary situation before SummerSlam last year. A man named Phillip A Thomas broke into her home with intentions and tools needed to kidnap her. The court just ruled on his mental competency.

As first reported by Wrestling Inc, Deville’s stalker had his mental competency hearing. According to documents obtained by Heel By Nature, Thomas was deemed not mentally competent to stand trial. On May 10th, two doctors gave testimony after evaluating Sonya Deville’s stalker. They reached a conclusion after spending some time with Thomas.

Thomas will now be committed to the Florida State Hospital. His charges are listed below:

AGGRAVATED STALKING – THIRD DEGREE FELONY

Philip A Thomas had been sending Sonya Deville messages for a very long time, prosecutors claims he did so for years. He also sent messages to her friends as well. At the time of his arrest, Mandy Rose was visiting Sonya Deville. Thankfully, they were both able to get out of the situation safely.

We will continue to monitor this ongoing situation if more information is made known.
