Natalya & Tamina Win WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles On SmackDown

Natalya and Tamina have chased the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles for quite some time. The duo of multi-generational Superstars got a title shot at WrestleMania, but they came up short. Things changed tonight on SmackDown.

Natalya and Tamina got another shot at Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler’s Women’s Tag Team Titles. This resulted in an opening match on SmackDown this week where Tamina secured the win after nailing a top rope splash on Nia Jax.

Following the match, Natalya gave a promo about following your dreams. Then the new champs got plenty of pyro in the ThunderDome. This was a big moment to kick off the blue brand’s show this week. Now there are new Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Now new challenger made themselves known after this big win, but it likely won’t take long.
