WWE brought live fans back for WrestleMania, and the thinking was that SummerSlam would be the next show with actual people in the crowd. That destination could come even sooner than we thought.

AEW announced a return to touring in July and WWE is apparently right alongside them.

During the Mat Men Wrestling show, it was reported that WWE is planning for fans to return somewhere between July 16th and 19th. Some of the details are unclear, but the company is making their way toward a return for live fans rather quickly.

“It looks like WWE is going to start touring on July 16. This is for the main roster shows. SmackDown would be the first one. I have no idea where they’re going to do it. I don’t know anything beyond that the date to start touring is July 16. I could be wrong (about touring). Let me read the message, ‘Fans back July 16-19.’ I don’t know if that’s a one-off week where they’re going to have fans, but it looks like July 16 they’re going to go back to having a live audience in some capacity,”

WWE hasn’t had fans around since WrestleMania, and they were immediately missed on RAW the next night. We’ll wait patiently for an announcement, but live fans very well could return to WWE television sooner than we first thought.

Is it time for WWE to start touring around the United States again? Sound off in the comments!
