You never know what can happen in a pro wrestling ring. Risks are everywhere and now Ricky Starks will have to take a few months off to let his neck heal.

As first reported on the Voices of Wrestling podcast, Ricky Starks is out of action with a fractured neck. This will put the Team Taz member on the sidelines for quite some time.

Fightful reported that it is “a slight fracture.” At this time he will not require surgery, but he also can’t take any bumps in the ring.

Ricky Starks landed awkwardly on his neck during an April 21st match against Adam “Hangman” Page. It was not confirmed that his injury is related to that bump.

Starks seemed to be doing okay despite this terrible situation. He’s doing DDP Yoga and praised its benefits following that bad bump on Dynamite. “I’m good! Thank you @DDPYoga for my flexibility.”

Ricky Starks is expected to make a return to action as soon as he is able to. AEW certainly sees big things in his future with the company.
