Latest On Keith Lee’s WWE Status

Keith Lee disappeared before he was supposed to wrestle in a triple threat match for the U.S. Title. He was pulled from that match for reasons that have not been disclosed and he hasn’t returned. Many fans are wondering what is going on with the former NXT Champion now.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer was asked about Keith Lee’s status during a mailbag question. At this time there is no reason why Keith Lee isn’t on television except that WWE simply isn’t booking him.

“I don’t know anything that’s going with Keith Lee. He’s okay, but obviously he’s not being used. I don’t know what the whole story is.”

Keith Lee is apparently okay and ready to wrestle. WWE hasn’t put him into anything significant for quite a while. He had a lot of momentum and then the former NXT Champion hit one instance of bad luck after another. Now fans are left to wait for his eventual return to the ring.
